I just want to remind you that there is an IRC-channel where you all can go to chat with fellow riddlers. This channel is not very crowded these days and it would be great if more people could join it.
If you use IRC you could just join #draculasriddle on quakenet and idle there, even if you don't feel like talking it would still be good. I think it would help establish the channel as an official chat for Dracula's Riddle-players.

For those of you who do not use IRC or don't know what it is:
Go to www.mirc.com and download it. In the settings window that appear when you start the program, type your desired nick and some other info (you do not necessarily have to fill in correct information). Go to the Server-tab and choose "random quakenet server" and then just hit connect. When you are connected simply type "/j #draculasriddle".

Perhaps this post will do nothing, but I really hope more people will come there. Even if you don't want to discuss Dracula's Riddle you could just talk about riddling or life or whatever, so even those of you who have already finished DR could join.

If you are having problems setting up mIRC or connecting to the channel, feel free to PM me for help.

If you have AIM and want to get IRC as well, I highly recommend you get Trillian Basic. It will let you run multiple IRC and AIM connections at once. Very handy. IM me at AvonPaintball if you need help with it.

If it is not to hard to do, some admin could set up a list where members could sign in, saying that they are using IM or IRC-channel, so that other people will know that and go there. I am not sure if that is feasible or useful enough, it is just an idea.
I can give hints, but please pm me what you have so far.

Anyone still use a program like this to discuss riddles?

I idle in there occasionally but I think I'm about 2 years too late. I never see anyone there (or perhaps I'm in the wrong channel?).

boxcutter is always there, so are 2 or 3 others. I am there during the day. are you sure you're on the right server?

for the ones who want to use it:

- get a client like mIRC
- /server irc.quakenet.org
- /join #draculasriddle

OR

go to http://webchat.quakenet.org
Enter your nickname and put in 'draculasriddle' as the channel.
