I've always liked seeing an aircraft modeled in a variety of scales as a comparison. One way to do this is do the same a/c in different scales but feature the same markings . Another approach would be to model the same type of a/c but in different markings...in a variety of scales...

So here we have the popular P-47 in a variety of scales, mark, and markings. ie: P-47D, 1/32, 21st Century kit, W.I.P. with after market wheels/center line fuel tank, P-47D [razorback] 1/48, Monogram/Revell kit decals with some s/b detailing, P-47N, 1/72, Revell, with additional detailing incl. aftermarket centerline fuel tank, and a p-47D, 1/144, 21st Century Toys kit... :woo:

Anyone else care to share a multi-scale comparison of an a/c or vehicle..??? I'd enjoy seeing it... :woo:

Cheers,

ggc

Andy, here are some pics of the current state of the 1/18 scale P-47D. it is a 21st Century Toys kit. it needs some repairs and additional detailing.

Side by side with a 1/32 P-47D, also a 21st Century kit.... :woo:
