New One Out There...XenTek?

Just saw this one on a TV commercial. Sounds like zMax. Said it penetrates into the metal, 100% synthetic, doesn't "help" the oil, gets into the metal...has anyone heard of this one? And I'm not 100% sure about the spelling...XenTek, or XenTeck, or XenTec....something like that.

I'll get some and check it out. I guess you can buy it at Kmart. Has anyone out there tried this?

You can go to emtacorp.com or Xentx.com and they have quite a bit of info there.

I have tried it and saw a good improvement in fuel efficiency, around 7-10%. The site mentioned previously has a comparison section for XentX and other similar products.

I understand it is non-mineral oil, non-petroleum, that kinda leaves out zMax, Prolong, Duralube, and the others. They all have petroeum distillates of some kind. The site claims that these distillates dilutes the "sensitive" oil additive package already in modern oils. May be onto something.

I witnessed a hands on presentation of XenTx 18 months ago when it was called Zero-F (prior to a company merger). It was fantastic! I kept looking for a trick or the like, but it really does make metal essentially frictionless. I recommend it. It doen not, to my knowlege, contain alcohol.

and nothing! Didn't make a dimes difference in the mpgs. Oh well, I say it's another one to avoid...or maybe my truck just doesn't respond to all of these friction reducers well...

or maybe you've tried so many of these friction reducers in your engine that it's as friction free as it can get.
