Hi

I have a plant in the house and I believe it has black fly on it (see pics attached). I have tried pest killer products but it only seems to kill some and then they come back within a week. Do you have any tips to permanently kill them off.

Thanks
Matt

With something like your fly s, I tend to use a domestic aerosol fly killer, as just a couple of short squirts will do the job for a time, if you do that every few days you should get rid of them as they are hatching and before they have time to lay more eggs, of if they are Black Fly then they can give live birth. I can't tell from your pictures what you have as they are to small to make out the individuals.

Hope this helps a little

Good recommendation. As for me, when I have problems with plant insects, I use standard chemical agents based on dichlorvos or Aphidoletes aphidomyza biological control agents. As a rule, it helps. You can also watch this youtube video, maybe, it will help you.
