Mrs Tickle and her friend dragged me to the cinema to see this tonight. It's not their normal sort of film, but I think they wanted to see Alan Rickman's last film appearance (I believe he will be heard but not seen in the soon to be released Alice Through The Looking Glass). It's not a film of which I was aware beforehand, but it is one of the best I've seen in quite a while, shining a spotlight on the moral and political - and personal - dilemmas involved in anti-terrorism and drone warfare. Rickman is excellent and there are many other strong performances. Quite cerebral, but tense and taut - a "film that manages to capture the viewer's attention in spite of having no car chases or shootouts."

I am myself indifferent. Honest.
