"Life is like a pen.
You can cross something out, but you can never erase it."

Our quit is something we worked hard for.
We are so happy and glad that we have our addiction under control....or so we thought.
We are going to be faced with bad times....that's just the fact of life.
During those bad times we become vulnerable.
Now, the door to the trap of addiction is wide open again and it's ready to slam shut, with us in it.

Once an addict, always an addict.
Smoking is not an option.
No matter what....just don't smoke.

Love you!

30 days!!!! ACK! I can't wait!

I quit my job (kinda prematurely) and am enjoying the month off before my wedding. Honestly, I had an interview last week and I am now being offered something so much better. I am blessed coming and going.

I will hit 19 months this week. I lost 29 pounds. I am marrying someone that is so good and kind. Wow!

Love you!

who you learned you can count on no matter what life may bring to you. Your fiancee sounds like my husband Hugh..kind, patient, loving, wise beyond measure...in our years together I've finally learned what a beautiful person I really am and I say this in all humility since loving myself has been a long time coming. You've been through and overcome so much and this man has walked by your side through all of it holding you tightly throughout...be happy Tess and know that you truly deserve this happiness and this man who loves you so much my friend.

Take care..

What we can do is to learn to live with it. Learn to take our addiction "One Day at a Time".

I have been very fortunate and have not been tested to the brink of actually considering smoking (I am soooo grateful for that). But I know life happens and when it happens to me I pray my heart & soul do not get so clouded with grief that I find comfort in the addiction.

I can't wait either!!!!! I just love weddings and so glad I will be there in my heart, mind, and soul.
You deserve nothing but the best and it looks like you are getting just that. A wonderful man and your health. 29 pounds!!!!! That's fabulous!!!! Now you will have to alter your dress, which is a GOOD thing.

I am a Quitter who will never give up Quitting on this Quit

Quitting replaces the tar and smoke to make room for a life of light and hope.
Smoking was no friend of mine. A friend would never hurt me like smoking did.
