I just stumbled across a bunch of old QBASIC files that I had written more than 20 years ago. I found QB64 which lets me load and run them. Unfortunately, most are not saved in an ASCII format. If I remember correctly, QBASIC allowed you the option of saving the source code ASCII or binary. QB64 will only load the ASCII files.

Anyone know of a way to read the non-ASCII files and/or convert them to ASCII?

Thanks.

There's a page on converting old binary BAS files to text over on the QB64 wiki.http://www.qb64.net/wiki/index.php/Tokenized_Code
