Can I compile under Vista yet?
You can compile for 95/98/2000/ME/XP/VISTA. As stated, the compiler may not work perfectly under Vista as the compiler is still a DOS .EXE but as it doesn't use a graphics screen mode it should work. If not, compile in DOSBOX and the .EXE produced will run in VISTA without DOSBOX.

Answer the question?

you live in or near San Jose, California, USA.

www.network54.com seems to be located in Los Angeles, California, USA.

The only thing I can think of is www.network54.com being weird (it has been slow for me at times too, and I'm on broadband in Illinois, USA), and the fact that you (apparently) have dialup access isn't helping.

*FWIW I loaded 10 songs from Purevolume without timeouts (on dialup!) ;-)
