Brunswick: I...gotta admit Smith, we haven't even gotten to Superbattle's opening match yet, and I'm already pretty frazzled. We are joined here now by Cousin Eddie, the manager of the Champion, Kevin Mordrad.

Smith: Manager? Show some damn respect Brunny. Cousin Eddie does more than just manage Mordrad. He's more of...well, what would you call it Eddie?

Eddie: If such titles are needed, think of me as the adviser to Mordrad.

Brunswick: And now, we go from one of PRW's monsters, to another. She has been wreaking havoc across PRW's lower card. She has left broken bones, bloodied bodies, and shortened careers in her wake. Ladies and Gentlemen...Barbed Wire.
Barbed Wire's music begins to play, smoke appearing on the entrance ramp. The crowd, meanwhile, fell silent outside of the occasional scream of excitement from one of her fans. Wire had endeared herself to many of the PRW faithful who wanted to see more violence and blood in matches, a desire that she had always sated whenever she enters the ring. But now, Wire wasn't being sent out to destroy some lower tier wrestler who had barely left their mark in PRW. Now she was going after the multi-time PRW Heavyweight Champion, Sean Aries.

That was why the crowd was silent. As excited as they were to see Wire, the crowd was silently anticipating the return of a legend. However, tonight Wire had a surprise in store. As she marched out onto the ring, the crowd could see a pair of red eyes peering through the smoke. Slowly, the camera pulled back, and as the smoke dissipated, a figure in black armor stood there, staring at the camera. There were horns on the knight's head.

The message was clear to everyone. On the night that the White Knight, Paladin, returned to PRW, Wire had chosen to take on the mantle of the Black Knight for herself. Now that the crowd could see her special outfit for tonight, they immediately began to clap and cheer. The knight's head tilted to the side and the figure began to shuffle forward, a black baseball wrapped in barbed wire dragging behind her.

Wire stopped at the top of the ramp, scanning the crowd. Even from within the armor, the crowd could hear Wire screech, a horrific war-cry that typically caused her opponents to turn tail and run. But tonight, her opponent wouldn't do that. Tonight she was after a trophy that she thought she would never get to hunt in PRW: Sean Aries.

Brunswick: Now that is a sight. Look at the crowd Smith. They are on their feet for Wire.

Smith: Say what you will about the woman behind the mask and her methods. She is one of the most dangerous competitors in PRW. Period. Eddie, I gotta ask you, what do you think of Wire?

Eddie: I'll admit that her bloodlust is...impressive. Nothing compared to my master of course.

Wire slid into the ring, moving over to the center of it. Her bat dropped to the ground as her hands reached up towards her helmet. The crowd fell silent before, suddenly, she pulled the helmet off, revealing that she was covered in facepaint that caused her to resemble a skeleton. She screeched again, and this time a portion of the crowd joined in with her. Wire began to run around the ring, falling against the ropes like an untamed animal and gazing out at the crowd. Even the referee and announcer in the ring looked a bit worried.

Piece-by-piece, the rest of the armor came off. Wire had spent extra time on her body paint today. On her back was what appeared to be the severed head of a bear, it's eyes rolled back into its head. A message to the Stoned Kodiak perhaps? Placing her armor off to the side, Wire sat down in the center of the ring, her eyes locked on the entrance ramp as she awaited her prey. She rocked back and forth, cradling her baseball bat in her arms.

As the camera zoomed in on her, she seemed to be talking to herself, though it could not be made out what she was saying over the sound of the crowd. She began to chew on her weapon, ignoring how blood was instantly being drawn from her lips.

And now, silence, as the crowd awaited her opponent.

We quickly travel from the past, the medieval vibrancy fading away from Wire's entrance just as the music had, slowly fading under the crowd hot with anticipation. The tone remains dreary, but the PRW springs to life with vibrant shades of purple and orange, a camera panning down to reveal a cinematic backdrop of post-apocalyptic Sydney, stretching across the entire stage. Warm waves of orange ripped behind bombed out structures, an urban wasteland of civil decay. At the forefront of the visual stood a mound of metal limbs, crushed and severed and stacked as high as can be. The lights in the arena continued to dim, pulling all attention to the tron and off the stage.
And as the orange sky was enveloped in dark storm clouds, a simple synth rhythm started to rise over the PA systems, the incoming storm increasing in threat as the music swelled and the bass drum kicked in, a single spotlight flicked on over center stage. Now alone, stood a sleek, black arcade cabinet, labeled along the front and side panels as MKUltra. As the music hit a merciless crescendo of unrelenting 80's synth, a pair of all-white Nike's kicked out the back of the arcade cabinet, flattening the wood right down to the stage!

He slowly stepped forward, adjusting the fringe of a red Varsity Jacket, the A on his left breast stitched flawlessly into the fabric, as his hands made final corrections to his collar. Free of his casket, Sean reached into his coat pocket and pulled out what looked to be a switchblade, flicking it open to reveal a comb. He slowly advanced to the ring, grooming his hair which in itself was enough to keep the audience enraptured in silence.

It seems as though Sean had let his hair grow out since his absence, and more elegantly coiffed since his previous scuffle with...ugh.. Jesse Drive. Gone was the beard, left with a clean shaven face and a stare hidden behind a pair of Ray-Bans. His trunks were replaced by the cleanest, white chino's you could find in South side Miami, but most importantly was the reservation he carried with himself to the ring, there was no outlandish war cry, no inside joke to the roadie cam.. There was just this prolonged focus as Sean leered at Barbed Wire, biting his lip and slowly tensing his hands into fists.

Brunswick: I'm horrified at what this ring may look like in just a few moments.

Eddie: By far one of the more barbaric ways the uncivilized can settle their differences. A squire and a fool. Nothing more.

Smith: Well, the squire has given tetanus mobility, and the fool collects teeth. Surely you're proprietor has even a faint of interest in this. I mean, I'm on board with Sean Aries dying here, have been since day one. This could be a good start to my evening.

Eddie: Mere entertainment? Yes. But a suitable challenge for the reigning champion? Don't belittle my sense of intellect with such nonsense.

He didn't carry weapons to the ring with him, they were attached at either end of his wrists, his ankles, lined up neatly in his mouth, sans four in the front. There was a lot of potential to see a ref through up the X tonight, and Sean's ability to contain himself may be his most mature feat to date.

He stepped upon the ring apron and continued his gaze, slowly peeling off the jacket to reveal a simple white T-shirt, the phrase WORLD'S GREATEST SERIALKILLER DAD" The latter half actually scribbled out and edited with a marker.

The glasses came off, and eyes met without interference. Sean perched himself into his turnbuckle, arms up and resting as he waited for the bell. There was no attention given to the bat, every bit of focus Sean had mustered was directed straight back into Wire's stare, grinning softly as he squirmed in anticipation. All he could stand there and do was wait for the signal, and hope Wire saw the delightful irony in all of this as well...

Wire was sitting in the center of the ring, her legs crossed as she watched Aries make his entrance. She didn't fully understand what she was seeing with the bizarre mixture of 80s nostalgia and post-apocalyptic imagery, but she found the man behind them to be fascinating nonetheless. To her, Aries was an interesting mish-mash of contradictions: a celebration of the past and a warning about the future, prep-school graduate father of the year and dangerous serial killer. Did she fully understand Sean Aries? No, but she was drawn to him nonetheless. It was no surprise to her that the crowd was now on its feat as one of PRW's legends made their entrance.

He would make an excellent prize.

Wire pulled her body upward, contorting her back like a zombie and laughing as the baseball bat dangled between her fingertips. Aries was focused on her, not the weapon in her hands. So many of Wire's opponents had refused to face her head-on once they saw the bat. But Aries was no ordinary foe; he was watching his enemy's movements intently, not the tool in her hands. This one was going to be interesting. Wire waited for the bell, which she viewed as her license to do whatever it is she so desire to her opponent.

Smith: And here we go....

Brunswick: Call it now Smith. Who do you think is going to win.

Smith: I'm giving it to Wire. She's been unstoppable lately, and Aries is bound to suffer ring rust. If he misses a step, it'll be all over.

Brunswick: I'm going to give it to Aries. Neither we nor Wire know what he's been doing to prepare for this match. I expect a lot of surprises. Eddie?

Eddie: This battle is pointless. Let's just let the rabble here enjoy their bloodshed.

As soon as the bell tolled, Wire rushed forward, her bat low as she prepared to swing it at Aries head. At least, that's what it looked like. Aries knew the weapon would be coming into play, and nimbly prepared to duck out of the way. So, Wire didn't even give him the opportunity. Just as looked like the two were about to clash, Wire slid out of the ring instead, laughing to herself as the crowd booed. With a little bit of swagger in her step, she turned and laughed at Aries, tapping her skull. "I'm already in your head." She yelled.

Wire slowly began to walk around the ring, surveying how best to attack her opponent. Aries, to his credit, made no sudden moves. Wire was more than ready to take advantage of any sudden movement he made outside the ring. However, Wire was in no particular rush. Right now, she was more than happy to make this last. Like a predator playing with her food, she licked her lips.

Once she was on the opposite end of the ring from Aries, she pulled back the ring apron, much to the joy of the crowd. She began to pull out whatever it is she could find and throw it into the ring. Steel chairs. A trash can. Kendo sticks. And a few less familiar tools, like a screwdriver. Taking the last chair in her hand, Wire placed it down behind her and sat, watching Aries from outside the ring.

She was waiting for the legend to make the first move, and had just given him some toys with which to do so.

-Sean stayed perched in his corner, keeping observation as he took a few steps away from the turnbuckle. As Wire strewed the weapons on the floor and patiently sat herself down, Sean's hand clutched at his chest and feigned to faint on the spot. He leaned into the ropes and reared his head back, looking to the rafters and mouthing the words "thank you" as he dropped down to the canvas and rolled out of the ring, casually strolling around to confront PRW's newly minted insurance claim.-

Brunswick: I sincerely hope Sean isn't undermining this woman and her capabilities. Sean may be a sarcastic asshole who undermines everyone possible, but we don't see that in the ring very often.

Smith: Can't you see he's just happy to find himself in this situation? Sean found another trash bag wrestler to do trash bag wrestling with and they actually showed up for the fight.

Eddie: Foolish mentality to have in this scenario, but let him revel in his arrogance.

Smith: As much as I want to agree with both of you? I can't. If Sean was going for arrogance and over confidence he would have handed her the bat, put his hands behind his bat and gave her a free shot.

Brunswick: Sounds like you and Sean are trying to have a clean slate with one another.

Smith: No... I just really wish he offered a free shot to Barbed Wire so we didn't have to sit through this garbage.

-Aries patiently made his way around to where Wire was sitting and kept his approach calm. He looked at his jacket, slung over the turnbuckle post and then continued on, his stare lingering for just a second longer than it normally should. Redirecting his attention, Sean looked at the plunder and opted to grab another chair. Rather then rush into the fray and start swinging, hell, even the idea of just chucking it at her crossed his mind... but instead? Aries propped open the chair and sat down right in front of her, Sydney slowly starting to buzz in anticipation. Aries beamed at the rookie and leaned forward, hands on his knees as he took the time to point at Wires hand, and then point at his own face, tapping himself on the cheek-

Smith: Pinch me, Josh. Dreams do come true.

-Aries kept smiling, leaning closer into Wire until he was practically nose to nose with her, neither wanting to budge on their passive stance.-

Eddie: This was a dance, that I was not expecting to see out of these two. Both are eager to swing but refuse to initiate.

Brunswick: Maybe both have a bit of reluctance, the reality of what can happen to either one of them setting i-

Eddie: Hush. Both want to revel in the provocation of one another. What's the trigger? Both of these competitors have shown to be reasonable people but there's just something in them that draws out a primitive mentality. We all get to witness shades of humanity devolving tonight.

-Aries could hear the rumble of the crowd, egging on Wire to take her shot, and yet she still refused. This was her ring now, and Sean was going to have to play it her way. Sean's counter move to this logic, was to simply lean in and plant a kiss on the tip of her nose.

-Wire lunged out of her seat, throttling the handle against his neck and toppling the chair and Aries right to the floor! Sydney finally got to unleash that initial excitement as this match fell underway, Sean using force to thrust the handle back into Wire's chest and separate the two of them. Both rolled to their feet, eyes locking again as Sean's grin encompassed over half his face. He was going to have fun today. Martinez applied grip to her bat, Aries tightened a fist, and both lunged into the fray.-

Smith: Sean Aries just got away with sexual assault on a female wrestler!

-You can hear Josh snort over the headset before silencing himself, watching as Martinez took an early swing, causing Aries to awkwardly dip his mid section back before dropping low and scooping up Wire at the waist, prepping to drop her onto the scattered mess of weapons. Before Sean could follow through, Wire flailed the bat over his shoulder and pulled back when she sensed hooked fabric. Sydney watched as the bat stuck to Sean's shirt and tore ripped, scraping at flesh as it tore through the cloth. Aries arched and responded by running Wire right into the ring apron with full steam, the audience watching as her jaw sprung open and she gasped for the ability to inhale fresh air.

Smith: Aries is going to need to find a way to get that bat out of her hands or this match isn't going to go on long. Well, she could sit there and bash him with it until he looked like raw hamburger...

Eddie: It'll be quite perplexing if we find ourselves with the roles switched no? Think of all the memories that Ms. Martinez would have come flooding back if that rat-stick came down across her own leg. The irony would be as delicious as a aged bottle of Cabernet.

-Sean peeled back, letting the wind return to Wire's lungs. Foolish? Probably. But it paralleled his motives. Aries reached down at the fringe of his shirt and pulled it over his head, revealing the splotched pock marks over his shoulder seeping with blood, like freckles caking the cheeks of some poor ginger. Sean tossed the shirt aside, unleashing the dad-bod and squaring up his fists.-

As Aries removed his now bloodied shirt, Wire stared back at him coldly. At this point, she felt insulted more than anything else. She had given him a gift in the form of all the weapons and other foreign objects currently strewn about the ring, and thus far he had rejected them all. And yet, she knew that the sick monster she had heard so much about was still in there. Aries was trying to get inside her head now, through the kiss on the nose and the fact that he was practically begging her to hit him across the face with her baseball bat. Or, was there something else to it? Perhaps Wire would never know.

However, if he still thought he could survive while holding back, he was sorely mistaken. The second he took his shirt off, Wire lunged forward, swinging her bat at his abdomen. Predictably, he made an attempt to catch it. As he bent over to catch the bat, Wire reversed direction, grabbing onto the back of his head and sending him colliding with the mat with a vicious bulldog. Aries's skull bounced off the ring, a dazed look in his eyes. He had nearly had his head rammed through a nearby steal chair.

Wire did not stop to survey her handiwork. Thus far, she had been cautious around Aries. After all, the man's reputation proceeded him, and she knew that she could not afford to make mistakes. But now, after having been insulted outside the ring by a kiss? She was determined to make him pay. With baseball bat in hand, she swung at his prone body. The bat was moving so quickly that it sounded like a whip as it collided with Aries's body, first across the thigh, then across the shoulder. Aries had drawn blood now, but he was able to spin his body around, kicking Wire back. His right leg caught Wire's signature baseball bat, sending it spiraling out of the ring.

Brunswick: And now Wire has been disarmed.

Smith: Disarmed? Do you not see the ring Brunny? She has more than enough toys without the baseball bat!

Aries rolled himself over to the corner of the ring, his arm gripping the bottom rope to haul his body back up. Wire, meanwhile, had moved onto using other weapons. She grabbed one of the steel chairs in her hands and, as Aries began to rise, threw it straight at his back. As the steel bounced off his body, Wire followed up with a corner drop kick that shoved the chair right into his face. Wire screeched, clutching her leg as she stood back up. Evidently, she had landed hard on her own as well.

Aries's head was not resting against the bottom turnbuckle, struggling to catch his breath and get back to his feet. Wire crouched over him, smiling as she watched the returning legend try to get his bearing. "You're a lot like me Aries. Sick. Twisted. I can dig that." All of a sudden, Wire leaned in, her hand rubbing up against the blood pooling on Aries's shoulder. She looked at the blood fondly before pressing her hand against her cheek, leaving a bloody handprint. She then did the same to Aries.

"But...I'm into way worse shit than you could ever hope to imagine." Wire placed her hands underneath Aries's arms, hoisting the man up to his feet. "Please don't give out on me until I'm satisfied." She began to help Aries back to his feet. The legend fought back, shoving Wire forcefully backwards, before a headbutt from his competitor quelled any of his resistance. Their heads collided hard enough to drawn an audible gasp from the arena.

Brunswick: This....this is weird. Am I alone in this, or is anyone else getting weird vibes right now?

Smith: Maybe I'll tell you more about what you're going through when you're older Brunny.

Eddie: While you two have your minds in the gutter, Wire is demonstrating that she is just as dangerous without a weapon as she is with one.

Aries was now resting on top of the ropes, but not by choice. Wire roared at the crowd, a portion of which cheered for her as she hit Aries with a vicious enziguri in the corner. With his consciousness hanging on by a thread, Wire moved underneath his body, picking him up for what appeared to be a powerbomb. Her legs trembled as she attempted to lift the larger opponent, but she ran forward and chucked him as far as he could. He landed back first on one of the chairs Wire had strewn around the ring, the crowd falling eerily silent as they watched the collision. Aries's body tumbled over as Wire laughed at her handiwork.

Following after him, Wire was on her hands and knees, looking Aries right in the face. She was waiting for him to get back up.

-Sean wouldn't tell you he was the best wrestler in PRW, he'd graciously give that title to Alex LeBlanc, nor could he call himself the most determined because that belongs to Joey Nox. What Sean COULD say about himself, is that he was without a doubt, one of the toughest, dumbest, wrestlers to blaze a trail in PRW. The question has always been whether he was stubborn, or just an absolute masochist. Sean would probably say the latter with a smile and a wink. As he writhed and arched his back, turning over with a wince to meet Wire's stare, Sean could faintly hear Chris De Burgh's Lady in Red playing in the back of his head. Aries propped himself up to one knee, his hand wiping away the blood on his cheek. Without blinking, keeping his gaze locked, Sean brought his hand to his face and licked his palm clean. Taking the time to politely reassure Reba; "This was just foreplay, pookie!" The audio barely picked it up, but reading the lips was crystal clear. -

Sean huffed and felt the wind return to his sails, watching intently as Wire started to mimic his mannerisms, shifting to a knee and mirroring his ascent to his feet. Sean just shook his head, watching as Wire approached and unleashed an open hand chop across his chest. Sean took a step back, exhaling sharply as he tensed his chest, shaking it off and chuckling. Sean subdued his expression, hit himself in the chest and egged her on to give him another one.

Brunswick: He's seriously happy about all of this...

Eddie: She's breathing life into him, and he's grateful. But that gratitude could be his downfall in the end.

Smith: We're talking about a guy who gets off to women stepping on his neck in heels, he's probably close to c-

Brunswick: DON'T. FINISH. THAT. SENTENCE.

-Sean readied himself as another chop came in, stepping backwards towards the turnbuckle as Wire started finding that momentum, feeling the confidence rolling in as she stepped in for a third strike. Sean had her where he wanted her. As she prepped her strike, Sean latched onto her forearm, and her scalp, tossing her into the turnbuckle and throwing a wild hay maker into her cheek. The dull thud of the impact causing a wave of cringe in the front row behind them. Wire went on the defense, trying to predict where the shots were going to go and finding mild success. But the aggravated fury of Aries was proving to work, the rookie slipping down to the canvas rope by rope until she was seated on the canvas. Opting to avoid the stomp, Sean lunged a knee into Martinez's face, watching her head rock back as Sydney gasped at the impact.

Sean just leered, his demeanor shifting to what we've come to expect from him, leering at Wire as he pressed his boot to her chest, keeping her down while he contemplated his next move. Brutality, maliciousness, uninhibited dental reconstruction, were a staple of Aries but the mentality still seemed to differ. This wasn't personal, it wasn't revenge. Sean saw someone who was begging for a fight and was going to give it to her, without a doubt. Respect, has a weird way of presenting itself sometimes.

Sean bolted from the corner and ran the ropes, slinging himself back with momentum, watching as Barbed slipped down and out of the ring, failing to catch herself gracefully but fortunate enough to cuckold Sean and prevent the boot scrape. Sean stopped mid sprint and paced in the ring, watching her rise up to her feet, looking for her opponent.

Brunswick: Admirable ring awareness, especially after getting blasted square in the face.

Smith: She could sense something coming and avoided it. She took a small bump on the floor but that's nothing compared to what Sean had planned.

Eddie: Aries showing little to no frustration over it should be noted as well. He knows his opportunities for such attacks are limited. Barbed is very wily, but it seems if Sean can get a beat on her he can clear out that trait with ease.

Brunswick: Trust me, Sean can be a big obstacle for any comp- LOOK OUT!

Sean wasn't looking to wait any longer, bouncing off the ropes and barreling at the opposite side of the ring. Taking flight, Aries soared between the top and middle rope and dove onto Martinez, shoving her back first into the guard rail with all of his weight. The barricade curved inward, now unaligned itself with the rest. Sean whipped his hair back and watched Wire figure out where she was, its never fun having a 200lb dad throw himself at you.

Aries was slow to his feet, getting up as he huffed, watching Wire stumble up to a base and turned, Sean catching her with a winded boot to the gut and doubling her over. Thinking quickly, and viciously Sean hooked himself onto Wire and faced his back to the guard rail. He hooked his grip into her shorts, and quickly whipped her over head with a snap vertical suplex, tailbone first into the guard rail. The nearby audience scattered as Wire went over the rail feet first with too much momentum to catch herself. She toppled into the row of seats, sending them clattering.

Brunswick: DEAR GOD, I FELT THAT.

Smith: That'll stick with her for a few months.

Eddie: I have to say, Aries has an excellent understanding of how dangerous the landscape is around a wrestling ring.

Brunswick: If you ask him why, he's going to tell you because it's HIS ring.

Eddie: Heh, not anymore Josh. Not anymore.

The camera lingered on Wire, staring at the ceiling as she attempted to suppress the sting lingering in her back. She could feel her legs, kicking away chairs to clear herself some space. This was a good thing, however as she shook the cobwebs and reignited herself to get back into the fight, she watched as a chair awkwardly came at her, ribbing her legs first in the stomach. She put her hands up and curled in defense, as Sean stood from the other side of the barrier, literally chucking every weapon he could find on the floor at her like a savage.

Brunswick: Somewhere in Louisville, Jim Cornette is about to have a stroke from these two.

Martinez started to pick up on Sean's method, using one of the tossed chairs to block anything he could throw her way, literally.

Wire punched the ground as she came off of the guard rail, her back arcing in pain. At first, Wire shrieked in pain, clutching her back. She couldn't feel her legs for a brief moment; never a good sign. However, that scream soon turned to laughter. This was what she had been seeking all this time, hasn't it? Not just to give in to her darker instincts, but for someone who was willing to go the distance with her. Wire was sick, twisted, and merciless...and now she wasn't alone. She had found her perfect match.

Most people wouldn't consider a match involving bent steel, broken ribs, and open wounds romantic. But for Wire? It was the perfect first date. As Aries got into the ring and started throwing weapons out to her, Wire sat back up, opening her arms wide as though she were waiting for Aries's embrace. Instead, she got a steel chair thrown at her skull, but even as her head slumped backward, that same smile never left Wire's face.

Smith: I think that Wire is actually enjoying this.

Brunswick: Even crazy people can get hurt if you hit them hard enough Smith. This isn't a smart plan on the part of-

Smith: Can it Brunny, Wire is on the move.

As the crowd watched, Wire began to crawl forward, sliding under the ring as Aries continued to throw everything he had available in the ring in her direction. Just as he was about to throw the trash can, he looked down to see that Wire had vanished. Some men would have simply waited for their quarry to reappear. Heck, that's what a hunter like Wire would have done. But Aries was enjoying himself to stop now when he felt so close to the climax. The PRW legend hot out of the ring, pulling up the apron and gazing underneath. Outside of more toys, like tables and ladders he made a mental note to grab later, there was nothing to be found. He shrugged, moving on to the other side of the ring.

This time, Wire was waiting for him. As he pulled the apron back, a fire extinguisher suddenly went off right in his face. Aries was a seemingly indestructible son of a bitch, but even he had vulnerable eyes. Falling back against the guard rails, Wire slid out from under the ring like a snake, shoving the fire extinguisher into his gut. Aries coughed, doubling over. Wire looked down at Aries in a state of ecstacy, looking back and forth between him and the guard rail as she contemplated what her next move would be. Waving the crowd out of the way , Wire hopped onto the guard rail before diving onto Aries with a diving footstomp to the back of the head and neck. Aries slumped over, and Wire fell to the ground next to him, laughing all the while.

Aries began to stir almost immediately. Of course he would. Wire was getting some good hits in, but it was going to take a lot more than that to put Aries away. And Wire wouldn't have it any other way. With Aries down, Wire hobbled to her feet, walking over to where she had left her baseball bat. It was time for her personal favorite weapon to come into play. She gripped her weapon tenderly, taking the time to enjoy the reunion with her new friend.

Still though, why should Aries have all the fun.

As she walked over to Aries, Wire took the baseball bat and rubbed it across her abdomen, instantly drawing her own blood. She left no gaping wounds, but just enough to draw color. She watched and waited for Aries to raise his head back up before pulling the bat backwards. The crowd watched with bated breath before, finally, Wire flung it towards him, aiming for the chest as opposed to the head. After all, knocking him out so early in the match would ruin the fun. Blood flew through the air as Aries's chest was torn open, and the Kodiak fell backwards. The baseball bat, meanwhile, was still embedded in his chest. Wire, not wasting a second, ran backward before hitting Aries with a kick that pushed the bat further in and knocked Aries onto his back.

Brunswick: I don't get it.

Smith: I'll explain everything to you when you're older Brunny.

Brunswick: N-not that...I mean why did Wire not hit Aries in the head? She's done it to her opponents before. She could have ended the match here. And she sure as hell isn't showing mercy.

Smith: Maybe she's just enjoying herself too much Brunny.

Eddie: I think there is a stronger connection between these two than any of you fools could ever understand.

Wire stared down at Aries before, suddenly, kneeling down next to him. Wire slowly positioned herself on Aries, straddling his body with her legs. The crowd began to either fall silent, whistle, or wonder why they had brought their kids here. Wire slowly leaned in ward until her and Aries were chest to chest, their blood mixing together as Wire gripped the baseball bat. Without warning, she pulled back, freeing the baseball bat from its latest victim. Wire then stood up, twirling her baseball bat in her hand as she looked around for a new toy.

Wire pulled up the apron, laughing to herself as the crowd began to call out their weapon of choice. Tables, ever the crowd pleaser. Ordinarily Wire could care less what the crowd wanted, but now, she thought they had a wonderful idea. She pulled out a table and set it up in the corner outside the ring. But...something seemed missing. So, she pulled out another table and stacked it on top of the other. Much better.

-The outside corner had become a makeshift Punji pit, over extending meant a potential second meeting with the guard rail, and falling short landed you head first onto the apron, or worse, the ring steps. The presence of the stacked tables craved the attention of the audience, someone was going through them.

Aries stirred and pushed himself into the bottom turnbuckle, covering his chest and seething as he sat up, eyes scanning the floor for Wire. He noticed the tables and took all the time he had to himself to assess their potential. Aries sighed and let his head rest against the second rope. Sean turned his head and realized what corner he had positioned himself in. It was right where he started the match, and his jacket still wrapped around the ring post just out of his reach. Slowly Sean pilled himself up with the ropes, the sting starting to fade as his hand rummaged awkwardly into the jacket pocket.

Brunswick: The last time Sean's body was this bloody and cut up was on an operating table.

Smith: Didn't think I'd ever hear a jab from you like that, but okay Josh.

Brunswick: Is it a jab if he's having fun this time around?

Smith: I...guess that's fair point?

But Wire had returned to her prey, slinking back into the ring after perfecting her artwork outside. Screeching as she sprung to her feet, Martinez lunged straight for Sean and gave her shoulder a heavy thrust into the stomach of Aries! Sean tried to brace himself but as his torso reddened he couldn't hide the damage being done. Wire gripped the ropes and hit Sean again, his feet giving out underneath him as his hand lingered meekly in his jacket. Barbed gloated over Sean's expression, grabbing a handful of hair and leading him to the other turnbuckle, ill intentions in mind. Sean kept in tow behind Wire, against his will, but the glint of silver in his hand...

Sean had the luxury of spending his career, dealing with opponents who never relented their attacks. This caused Sean's ability to retaliate in reflex to be honed and perfected, as best a 30 year old dad could do. However, Aries never felt pressured from his opponent tonight. She relented and paced, she plotted. She was hunting. Either Wire knew this, and studied up on her opponent, or it was just her instincts letting her know when to let up. But Wire's game plan was insisting on ruthlessness, the tables becoming a midnight toll for the victim of the plummet.

Brunswick: Wire drilling into the spot she's busted open, Aries has to find a way to break the attack here.

Smith: Sean's going to be at the hospital regardless tomorrow, he's gotta be some kind of worried..

She wanted to drive him into the dirt, she wanted to see the shock and horror on the faces of Sydney and smile about it. Sean... really couldn't blame her, it's a fun reaction to get. But he was having other ideas, that flash of silver in his hand again as he reached up, ripping his hair free from her hands and wrapping an arm around her neck, the loaded hand covering across her forehead as Sean fell backward and to the mat with a rear-naked choke! Sean's fist scraped against flesh and that's when the camera finally caught it.

A fork.

A simple piece taken from the Aries flatware collection, and a classic among the territory purists. Wire kicked her legs to get free, the point of the fork barely extended, but still enough to get the full effect. Aries slowly drug his hand over the face of Barbed Wire, the face paint smearing as the scratches started to surface.

Brunswick: Sean came prepared to counter the bat!

Smith: The bat? You think a fork can counter a bat? Sean's game plan was silverware and you think its enough to stop a Louisville Thrasher?

Eddie: It's simple really, Sean's concept of inflicting pain is shades different than our dear damsel Barbed Wire. One of them is aggressive, frustrated, unhinged. The other? Methodical and patient. One creates chaos, the other manipulates it to fit their need. Magnetism, Doug. If Barbed Wire wasn't threatening the limbs of the ...*ahem* lesser known roster members. Sean wouldn't be digging the flesh from her face right now. Wire is proactive, Sean is reactive.

Smith: Look you can make it sound as poetic and scientific as you like, but tell me. Would you consider these two to be sane? In the least?!

Eddie: No, but they're not quite insane either. They're wrestlers.

Sean's grip wasn't all that tight, his focus more on the fork then choking out his opponent, so when Wire managed to catch him with an elbow to the ribs, Aries practically released her on contact, keeping enough strength to get a jab in with the fork. It wasn't a devastating blow, but it was enough to keep Wire stunned as Sean positioned himself. Wire was crawling towards the ropes, ready to pick herself up. Sean finally had the chance to prey on her, flicking the fork between his fingers as he held it up by his ear, before dropping it low and gripping it. Wire pressed herself against the ropes, ready to charge at a poised Aries, both chests were heaving as Sean beckoned her forth, let's go.

Barb unleashed that fury, wanted to see Aries driven through those tables and she was going to get her wish however she could. But as she came at Sean, her eyes followed his hand, watching the fork leave his hands and drift through the air, right at her! The reflex was in, her hands reaching to grab it, fingers dancing around steel as she caught the fork, slipping right into her hand!

...and the back of Sean's fist found itself colliding with her temple!

With the dull smack of the back fist, Wire stumbled drunkenly toward the turnbuckle, face first, using the padding like a pillow as she stared into space, trying to figure out what just happened to her skull.

The replay rolls, and we watch in half-speed as Sean tossed the fork to Barbed Wire, and as her focus shifted to the object, Sean swiveled and hit her with a back fist before falling over to the mat himself. Sean stumbled his way back up to a standing base, blood-smeared and panting.

Eddie: A bit of a reminder to Ms. Martinez as to who she wanted to be. I hope the taste is bittersweet.

Sean grabbed at Wire's shoulder and turned her around, tucking his head under her arm and raising her to the top turnbuckle. Sydney's thirst grew as the tables lingered ominously behind her. Aries hooked himself to Reba in a suplex position, bringing himself up to the second rope, trying to climb up one more..but Wire's hands found Sean's mid-section as she fought back! Fists laid into Aries and broke the clinch, Wire readjusting herself and taking control of the hold, clutching Aries. The tables were begging for a sacrifice.

Barbed Wire was trying to hoist Aries over her head, but the shot from the guard rail was making it difficult. Every time she went to hit the move, Aries felt heavier. She felt herself relent, just for a moment, to realign herself..

Sean reared his head back, latching his arm under hers and across her neck, lifting her and taking both of them off the turnbuckle and down through the tables with an uranage slam!. Sydney went berserk as the gods were finally sated. The raucous audience watching as chunks of wood and debris splintered and collapsed around the two bodies. The ref could only look on in confusion with what to do, absolutely perplexed by the sight before himself.

Aries was laying there, stare locked onto his opponent with his arm still draping their neck. He couldn't move..the clutter...the wreckage... There wasn't enough space to kick himself free.. so all he could do was just sit there. Sean muscled himself a bit of space, deliberately trying to keep her shoulder off the floor. Wire caught on, meekly pulling herself together and rolling over onto her stomach. Her arm swung across Sean, who responding by hugging her head, and keeping his shoulder down.
