Psalms 78:1
KJV 1 Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
CAB 1 A Psalm of instruction, of Asaph. Give heed, O my people, to my law; incline your ear to the words of my mouth.

These are my thoughts.
We need to listen to and follow God’s word.
The bible does not contain all we can know but all we need to know.

Psalms 78:2
KJV 2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
CAB 2 I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter dark sayings which have been from the beginning.

These are my thoughts.
Are we open to receive harsh truth of the word?
The bible does not contain all we can know but all we need to know.

Psalms 78:3
KJV 3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
CAB 3 All which we have heard and known, and our fathers have declared to us.

These are my thoughts.
We need to keep to our memory what the Lord says.
The bible does not contain all we can know but all we need to know.

Psalms 78:4
KJV 4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
CAB 4 They were not hid from their children to a second generation; the fathers declaring the praises of the Lord, and His mighty acts, and His wonders which He has done.

These are my thoughts.
We should share the wonderful works of the Lord with the next generation and they find His strength.
The bible does not contain all we can know but all we need to know.
