Now I'm the one with a cold and for the past few days I've been coughing nonstop. So hard that it feels like I'm pulling muscles all around my pelvis. Its getting pretty painful. Has anyone heard of this being bad for baby? I feel so silly asking because I'm pretty sure the answer is no...

are you sure you don't have whooping cough? If it's non-stop and to point where it's causing abdominal pain it could be that. I've had it (in 2006) and it's not fun!

My local paper just had a story on ithttp://www.northjersey.com/news/Whoopin ... l?page=all

The coughing itself though I doubt is an issue for baby.

I don't think so, since I'm immunized and I don't live in an area with rogue strains due to low vaccination rates. But thanks for mentioning it, I will keep it in mind if I don't get better soon.
