Amy,

I'm not sure if you are on the boards right now, but something just popped into my head.

Have you ever been checked for celiac disease? I blame undiagnosed celiac with my m/c a few years ago. It just clicked in my head with your recent stomach troubles and the m/c being so close together.

I'm so sorry for what you've been through. I really wish the doctors could give you a better explanation even thought it wouldn't lessen the pain.

Thinking of you.

Not sure about whether it can cause m/c or not. Do you suffer from extreme stomach aches/gastrointestinal issues?

Amy, first off I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your loss. My heart goes out to you and your DH. I am no expert but wonder whether you have been tested for any autoimmune issues. I have no medical training but reading about what you have gone through made me think somehow of an article I saw lately about a possible link between miscarriage and autoimmune disorders.

I only really lurk on this board and so am not familiar with all of the acronyms I'm meant to put in the subject header. My apologies if I've left something out.

Good luck to you and all my best wishes.

If you do decide to pursue this as a cause I strongly recommend that you work with a naturopathic doctor since 'most' traditional doctors nither support nor have much experience with treating (alternative medicines/treatments/diagnosing) this type of issue. Some may even just brush off your questions/concerns.

somehow I suspect that in Amy's case it's more than that.

She is the loveliest person in cyber-space, and has had many losses. She is the expert on causes of loss. If you post to her on the DE board, I'm certain she'll respond to you on this board or over there. She's lovely and will want to help. Best wishes - I'm so sorry for the @#$%%% you're going through and have been through. It's obvious you are going to make an amazing mother one day, and I hope it's sooner rather than later. xoxo
