Wow, I missed this place. It's been a long time...I mean a loooong time!
I'm not sure if anyone still comes on here, but I just wanted to write something for old times sake.
I'm quintionio1000 on here, but my real name's Quintin. I honestly got interested in PowerPoint Heaven because when I was a kid I really liked video games, but couldn't play them. We got Game Boys and a Gamecube, but after some extreme addictive video game addiction from my older brother, video games were banned except for special occasions. This didn't stop me, I'd play online flash games, but had to be sneaky about it (I know, terrible, huh?) and play at friend's houses. Anyway, eventually while cruising on YouTube one day I learned about PowerPoint games. It was just a stay-in-the-lines sorta game, but it sparked my interest. I could build my own games and my dad wouldn't even be able to tell because as far as he was concerned I was just making a slideshow.
Since then I've moved on from PowerPoint games, however, from my experience on this forum I found a love for coding (though VBA isn't a great language) and the creativity of game development. I'm currently studying to be a Computer Science major (programming) and that desire sprouted from PowerPoint Heaven. Just wanted to say thank you to all who influenced me here, even though I know you all probably won't see this or remember me.
I'm planning on making one last game for old time's sake, and since I'm a much better programmer now. I'll post it when I'm done. It'll be a surprise! 'Til then...
