Unless independently wealthy, developed practice sessions to maximize time, ammo and effort. If I practice barricade at 50 there is no need to do it at 25. For  kneeling I drop straight to both knees and shoot offhand un supported so if I practice match 4 I am also practicing kneeling match 2. I never practice 7 yd line because if I can hit it at 15 I can hit it at 7.  Based on the above I shoot match 3 and 4 with a 15 yard line thrown in. Try to finish match 3 with a 6 in 12 at 25.
Watch the top shooters and copy what works for you. At the heron 1500 championships (long ago)jerry Eason and I had crowds watching us and we did a question answer after we finished, MOST top shooters will give tips and talk as long as it is timed to not interfere with their shooting, hope all is going well

Marc,
Don't forget, make sure all the goats on your speed loaders face in the same direction.

Hope all is well with you, too. We are in Raton right now, preparing to embarrass myself next week.

Yes it's important the goats face down range so they can see the x ring. Problem is the goats are getting older and need glasses to see it.  JP

Marc I just can't remember which way the goats are supposed to face when looking for the Floretta cup the morning after the BBQ.  JP

To the OP: Discussion of goats aside, Marc Cobb and Jerry Eason are two of the best shooters of their generation. Period. They both have a wealth of information, and are more than willing to share it. Listen to what they have to say, put that info into use, and you cannot help but become a better shooter.
