For my next project and revolver I would like to have a S&W686 PPC Muzzle loader so as to be legal in the UK. The design of the cylinder is at the heart of this plus being able to take the cylinder out and insert a new one (a quick reload) onto the crane. The crane must be of such a design that it cannot accept a standard cylinder with cartridges or be easily adaptable so that a standard crane could be fitted.

I want to train with a UK legal PPC for 1500.

Anyone ever heard of such a gun or have any ideas. I do have some of my own.

How much are you willing to invest in this enterprise?

isn't it easier to get a gunsmith license?
I know a guy from Bisley who did this, so he can own and shoot handguns.

I know most of all those who are dabbling in this sort of thing but I suspect my project might be one of a kind. Who did you have in mind?
