I'm looking for a six-inch PPC revolver in excellent condition. I'm trying to replace a Bill Davis Custom with an Aristocrat adjustable rib and an under-barrel lug. I will consider PPC revolvers assembled by other gunsmiths.

I have a PPC pistol if interested. I don't shoot PPC anymore. I purchased this used some 15 years ago and it wasn't finished. I was told it has a Douglas bull barrel but I can't confirm it. It's on a 586 frame. I sent it up to Clark for completing. He installed a dent lock for the cylinder, timed it and took out any cylinder play and installed the single action back in it. Have no idea why someone would take that out but they did. 50 yards is a bear with double action I thought. I later had is cerekoted. It has the Aristocrate sight also.

Here's what I have into it:
My purchase price- $500
Clark trigger and cylinder work- $300
Cerekote- $200

I had a Ransom rest at the time and loaded it with various powders and Saeco 382 and H&G 50 WC. My tests showed the best load was with the 382 and 3.5 grains of Bullseye. It measured 1.75" vertical displacement and 1.75 horizontal. With 3.7 231 it was 1.5 v and 1.75 h. With the H&G 50 WC the best I got was 1.5 h and 2.5v with 3.7 231.

I have a holster for it that came with it but the holster just didn't fit the bull barrel at all. It's a Safariland.

If your interested in the gun and belt and holster I'd consider $750 for it. You pay shipping and FFL fees at your end.

If your interested let me know. email is jackleg83@hotmail.com I'm in Florida. I can email a pic, don't know how to do it here.

John
