Last Chance - Civilian PPC

Just finished communicating with Tom Hughes (NRA) regarding the continuation of Civilian PPC 1500 (as part of Action Pistol). He says that NRA will sanction events and issue classification cards for 2014, BUT with the lack of interest nationwide, this will probably be the last year. If we want a Civilian PPC course of fire to continue (and here in Kansas City we use the LE PPC rules exactly and shoot matches concurrently with LE sanctioned matches) there has to be more interest. Our shooter numbers are dwindling here, mostly due to lack of ammo and components, but we feel that having an NRA sanction/classification has helped us retain shooters and bring new shooters to the sport.

Getting a sanction from NRA is relatively easy and an Approved match only adds $4.50 more to the entry fee. Please contact me at keifers@meritcomputing.com if you have any questions or if you want some assistance with the sanctioning process. I will be more than happy to help out.

Also, how about posting your matches on this Forum for all to see. We will have 6 sanctioned matches (just outside Kansas City, MO) this summer - dates later. Thanks all, ken
