Atrological Signs: Trudusa the Jellicent, Year of the Magmar
Trainer Class: Writer/Photographer
Weight: 178 lbs
Hair Color & Style: Often known for dying his hair, he's currently left it in its natural dark brown, nearing black state with a light blue streak in the front portion of his hair. He has it shaved at the back and sides with the front of his hair long. He pushes the majority of his hair back, however the front still hangs down.
Eyes: His eyes are dark brown alike his long eyelashes.
Clothing/Accessories: Elijah is mostly fond of wearing nothing more than a plain tshirt and skinny jeans, although he does change into other outfits according to the weather. He currently enjoys wearing a baggy black hooded pullover, a longer-fitting tshirt which pokes out beneath the hoodie, and a pair of blue skinny jeans which are rolled up slightly above the ankles. He wears a pair of low-cut black canvas baseball boots which he tries to keep immaculately clean.
He carries his belongings in a medium-sized canvas rucksack which has an Aztec-like pattern on the pockets. Inside his bag, he holds various extra hats and jumpers, as well as batteries, memory cards, and camera lenses alongside his Pokemon essentials.
General Appearance: Elijah's facial expression is often neutral apart from the happy curve of his lips, as his eyes sit at a rather blank expression. Elijah often stands with his back straight because he was always worried about getting a humpback, but he'll often slouch and stand a little more relaxed when he's either tired or forgets to stand straight. Walking with such a straight, tall stance makes him appear very confident.
He nearly always has one hand on his camera and one hand inside his hoodie. He has somewhat of an athlete's physique with visible muscles on his torso and chest, however he feels like he could do with putting on a few pounds.
He has a tattoo of a camera on his arm, however he hopes to get this removed eventually. He takes great care in his appearance, making sure that his skin is always shaved down smoothly, and that his nails are always trimmed properly.
Personality: Elijah is a calm and confident man who, to an extent, is sometimes overconfident. This overconfidence often leads him to come across as him being majorly cocky, but this thought can often be corrected after a short conversation. Some people find his bold, upbeat personality makes him charming and easy to talk to, while some others can find him annoying or rude. This often plays poorly in his part, however, as he treats everybody with the same amount of respect as they give him, so if somebody expresses that they don't like his attitude, he will continue to act negatively to that person.
He is naturally quite stubborn, and this causes him to never easily fess up to his mistakes, or apologise for things that he's done wrong, because in his mind there is always a way to blame someone else, and it's usually easier for him to blame someone else than to accept he's done something wrong. That said, he strives to be the best at everything he does, and if he knows he can do better, he sets that as his next goal because he loves knowing and feeling like he has improved himself at something.
Elijah finds himself having a hard time saying 'No' to his friends because he likes to see the people who mean most to him happy. When he is conflicted with somebody who passes him on the confidence factor, he tries to quieten and calm down as he knows how stupid or bad he can look if he gets knocked down a peg or two. He enjoys being an authoritative figure which makes him play a good leader or teacher role, as he enjoys being able to teach new things to people which is where his older career-path came from.
He doesn't have many fears or regrets that he knows about, however he worries about being alone as he finds that he works best socially because of his naturally extroverted personality. It's rare that he is ever sad or angry, so he tends to 'close up' and become somewhat quiet in himself until the issue is resolved and he is happier again.

- Elijah grew up in an average home with his parents, older sister Adele, and younger brother Leo. He never understood the whole 'middle child' stereotypes, and he grew up with all of the attention and love any child could have hoped for. At school, even when he was young, he was always part of the somewhat popular, yet troublesome, groups. Although his friends were always being sent to speak to the principle and being kept for detention, Elijah had some respect for his teachers and his peers and would try not to cause too much trouble.
From a young age, and way into his teens, Elijah was always a great fan of art and loved to draw even though he was awful at it. Everywhere he went, his sketchbook and pencil case went too. Most of his drawings and sketches were badly-drawn portraits and fantasy-style pieces, but no matter how hard he worked on them, a piece never seemed to feel right, and never would they be as good as some of his friend's pieces. As much as he loved to be creative, he found that he was more talented in sport, but it just didn't provide the freedom that being 'artsy' did. His love for drawing and sketching suddenly died down when he realised that he could use other means of art to create portraits, fantasy worlds, stories, and just about anything else he could imagine. He saved until he had enough money to buy himself a cheap digital camera, which made him feel like a whole new path had been opened for him.
Once he had his camera, he would often go out on long walks with Leo and Adele and take a lot of pictures of them on somewhat mediocre backgrounds, although he felt that this was his way of being 'fancy'. This led to him discovering photographing wild Pokemon. At first, Pokemon Photography was fascinating because he knew that each picture would be different from the last, however this quickly became something somewhat tedious to him, as most of the wild pokemon he encountered became repetitive, and his images bared a lot of resemblance to each other. As well as using his camera, he would write stories, all works of fiction, because he realised that words gave him the freedom to make up for what his lack of drawing skills gave him.
When it came to choosing his options in school, he was somewhat conflicted between the creative subjects and the sportier ones. He loved being able to learn about art-based things and about new photographers which he could use as inspiration, but he was already good at playing sports like Football and Basketball, so he felt like he should continue that. He decided to stick with the sportier subjects as he knew that the creative ones were always something he could continue in his spare time, and the sportier ones were something he would always get praise for. He also took Pokemon Training as a subject, mostly because he knew that it was a popular subject, and owning a Pokemon was something he was always thinking about.
Once he finished Secondary School, Elijah managed to get accepted into the GSUC where he originally intended to continue with a Personal-Training based degree, but instead opted for a Photography Degree. He moved from his home in Cascadia and lived on the campus, where he tried to live the typical student away from home life, but could never feel excited or happy with it. He noticed that he couldn't help but feel awfully homesick, so much to the point that he couldn't feel comfortable, so he opted to drop out of Uni and move back home. Once he was back, he got a job as a cleaner in the Pokemon Center where his dad worked, where he would work early mornings and take his camera out, and take pictures and make movies.
While working in the Pokemon Center, he grew close to a young trainee nurse called Ellie. It wasn't long before Elijah had plucked up the courage to ask her on a date, and soon after the two were inseparable. Ellie suddenly became one of Elijah's soul muses, and he began to take of her, or even inspired by her. The two of them took a holiday to the South of Godai, where the beauty and vibrance of everything overwhelmed Elijah's inspiration. This gave him a surge of motivation, and he began to write a story with the south of Godai, particularly Sterling Seaside, Mt Sear, and Tiensee inspiring the settings of the story.
One day as Elijah finished his shift in the Pokemon Center, he was stopped by his father who told him that he had been nursing an abandoned, young Turtwig. He went in to see the young Pokemon running around one of the surgery rooms, full of beans. As it had done to everyone who came into the room, Turtwig ran playful circles around Elijah, and Elijah found him absolutely adorable. After a little bit of negotiation with his father, he managed to convince him to take the Turtwig home and he adopted him as his own.
Turtwig, who became known as Bruce, followed Elijah everywhere he went. He would accompany him to the Pokemon center each morning, he would follow Elijah to the gym when he had to work out, and he would still be like his shadow when Elijah ventured out of Cascadia with his camera.
When Elijah's and Ellie's second anniversary approached, Elijah decided on giving her a gift which was unique: he was going to write her a short story. The words came easy as he used the pair's love for one another as inspiration. He felt nervous to give her the story on their anniversary, but he knew that Ellie would love it. Unfortunately for Elijah, Ellie broke up with him and he was never given the chance to give her his gift. Although it came as a shock to him, he wasn't as upset or gutted about being dumped by Ellie as he would have imagined. What he did notice, however, was that his writing suddenly didn't flow as naturally, and his pictures didn't strike him as something he was happy with.
Not being able to be happy with his own work made Elijah feel awfully miserable. Every time he wrote something, it would sound terrible, and no matter what he tried, no good ideas would come to mind. He attempted to read his old works in hope to inspire him with something new, however all it did was remind him of his trip around South Godai with Ellie, which gave him an idea. He decided on traveling Godai in it's entirety, in hope that it would once again give him the inspiration and motivation which it had done once before. Instead of going alone, he decided on putting his Pokemon training lessons from school to good use, and he chose to take Bruce along with him. He packed his favourite camera and notebook, and off he set on his own journey.
