Pokemon Recovery Questions

I remember asking in chat that a Pokemon only needs to be brought to a Pokemon Center if it has officially received KO (knocked out) status. Even if the Pokemon loses the battle (fleeing before KO) they can recover out in the wild.

My first question is is it possible to generate berries/potions in order to help with the recovery in your journey, even if it's not rolled into the encounter? I'm guessing the answer to this is no, but it it possible for a NPC trainer to have such items and possibly share with PC?

Second question is the rate of recovery a Pokemon gains. Do they recover a % for every hour used for recovery? An actual hp number?

If these question are already answered in the rules then I'm sorry for asking them here. I thought I looked and didn't find them, and so was curious about them. Thank you for your time.

Not staff, but I remember Johnapillar saying it took like a week to three weeks for a pokemon to recover on its own from KO.

as for the first question, the answer is no. I think you might be able to get some leeway in a town with a pokecenter, as long as by the end the actual bulk healing comes from the pokecenter, but that might be pushing it a little.

Of course I might be wrong, but that's my understanding of it.
