Speed Force
1st Round Pick (4): Wendell Prendiville
Position: Left Wing
Overall: 70
Age: 19
Strengths: Defense, Speed, and Skating
Weaknesses: Discipline, Puck Handling, and Intensity
Projected Call Up: Seaon 2 Offseason
Projected Career Path: 1st line wing for ES and PK
Pick Recap: A solid player who should develop into a good two way player who will excel on the defensive end of the ice.

2nd Round Pick (21): Jukka Koskinen
Position: Defense
Overall: 54
Age: 16
Strengths: Strength and Durability
Weaknesses: Scoring, Puck Handling, and Speed
Projected Call Up: Season 4 Offseason
Projected Career Path: 3rd or 4th line enforcer on ES
Pick Recap: The only plus to this pick is that Koskinen is 16 and has plenty of time to develop in the Junior League. Clearly a selection made towards the future.

3rd Round Pick (28): Darby Ford
Position: Defense
Overall: 57
Age: 17
Strengths: Strength, Discipline, and Intensity
Weaknesses: Scoring and Puck Handling
Projected Call Up: Season 4 Offseason

Pick Recap: Has the chance to develop into a serviceable defenseman who is a hit machine.

4th Round Pick (45): Sylvain Leetch
Position: Right Wing
Overall: 52
Age: 16
Strengths: Intensity, Durability, and Scoring
Weaknesses: Defense and Strength
Projected Call Up: Season 4 Offseason
Projected Career Path: 3rd or 4th line wing on ES
Pick Recap: Chances are he won't see any time on the pro roster but if the Speed Force brass  sees potential they may invest the resources into Leetch.

Draft Grade: C
Speed Force gets a slight pass as this was the General Managers first FHL draft, not to mention it was a blind draft! Prendiville should turn into a good player but the other picks have a long road ahead if they want to make the pros. It would’ve been great to see Speed Force grab another near pro ready player in the 2nd round. Patience will be a key for the Speed Force management.
