Hi All,

Made another score on Gun Broker, just waiting for it to ship and arrive at my local FFL.  Here are some of the pictures from the auction, I'll update and post a range report as soon as I can.  It's a Russian rework, receiver and barrel are 1941 from Kovrov arsenal.  Took here to the range with mixed results, need to try different ammo.  Seemed to string vertically with the ammo I tried?

Nice find. How's the crown?

I prefer a refurb the last refurb I had the gas system was all brand new. Both my svt -40's cycled with the gas setting on 1.3 using czeck silver tip 7.62x54r ammo.

Hi Bigbill,
I only took her out the one time and had a bunch of mixed ammo to shoot at the time. This gun cycled fine but my shoots seemed to string vertically with the ammo I tried? I haven't taken her back to the range even though I now have several tins of surplus ammo.
I wanted to make up some reloads also, just haven't gotten around to it yet. The crown looked fine, but I also wanted to take her down even though she looks really clean. Just to many projects and a few health issues keep slowing me down.
