And decided that they needed users to pay $300 (I forget) per year to allow third party hosting. Most people have switched to Imgur or other services.

There's a "Photobucket Hotfix Fix" available for on the Chrome Web Store that's been mentioned before on P.com. It's free and will allow you to see the Photobucket hosted images.

and if one uses Chrome but not sure how that helps "post" images?
IGMUR is like a free replacement to Photobucket and how you can see that image below (its no longer hosted on Photobucket).
