Hi All,

I noticed that the 26mm Absolutamente straps look much darker and less "suede-like" than the ones that came with the Pam 390 at 24mm. Seeing that both straps are new, there should not be much difference.

Maybe it will lighten up after some wear ! Has anyone else noticed a difference with their straps.

Thanks.

Kelvin

You are right! The OEM Assolutamente 26/26 is much darker and less suede-like than the OEM 24/22 ones.

I don't think the color will become lighter, but it should become darker instead. But I like both of them very much!

1. OEM 24/22

2. OEM 26/26

But I like them both. I think I prefer the 26mm that I ordered for my 372. That just sings to me for some reason. That is the sole watch/strap combo that I have been wearing in casual situations since I got the 372 back in January. I am not so sure that it's getting darker, it could be getting lighter. The 390 is just sitting in the box (why wear a 44 when you can wear a 47), so no patina on that yet.

I thought it was just me ! Yes, my strap looks exactly like Siaw Ping's strap on the 372. It still looks nice but would have preferred the lighter shade suede look. I just mounted the strap on today so really hoping to see some lightening after some wear !

But I don't have a 390 to compare to. I do have an OEM 24mm and 26mm. They match up nicely, but both were purchased separately and not with a watch (no 390 here).

Hi Craig,

The texture and color of your 26mm really look the same as the 24mm! Can you provide the part number of the OEM 26mm you bought? Mine is MX006ZG8.

26 mm Assolutamente purchased a month ago is significantly darker than one that came with my 411 SE.
I actually like it more and BTW I don't think is going to get lighter, because my 24 mm strap WAS lighter but now has darkened with wear. Both are great looking anyway.
