1. In some of the photos, the 28 looks darker than the 26 -- is that true or merely an optical illusion?

2. What do you think of the 28 in comparison to the 317 that you recently shot?

Hi Craig, I've never seen the new 26 up close (just in pictures) but the watch appears almost black in some of the photos because of the lighting setup. It's more gray than black in person.
I have to say that I wasn't that interested in the 28 at first, because I'm not a huge fan of the sweeping seconds, but once I had it my hands - my opinion changed ever so quickly. It's a beauty. It can't be compared to the 317 really. That's a whole different beast. If I had to choose... I think it would have to be the 317.

I like the new strap changing system a lot but I agree that this particular watch should not have it.

It's a beaut man. And I'm not a fan of sweeping seconds. Funny how quickly you can change your mind if you have a watch in your hands. Pictures are just pictures.
