I'm sorry, I think that's just awful. Putting a date on a Cali detracts from the historic coolness of the cali-style dial completely and only serves to take it from the sphere of "cool and unusual" to mundane. For once I hope a watch is an LE, with a very very low number produced

That date is really subtle and a usefull feature .

Also , as far as I'm aware ( and I'm no guru )
it the 1st model that's a combination base & date with this movement .

I'm going to stick my neck out and predict it as this year's sleeper .....

But given a choice I'd still take a 372 .
