1. Any idea when it's scheduled to open?
2. Is there likely to be a UK GtG around the time it opens?

I heard it's going to open around the beginning of November this year. The address is apparently going to be 30 New Bond Street and the store (so I've read) will be second largest in Europe. It will offer a full after sales service including an in house watch maker. As I live in London, I can't wait. Fingers crossed it happens

so the November timeframe sounds reasonable. I'm not in or around London but I spend plenty of time there on business. Like you, I can't wait. I'm going hold off on my next PAM until the London boutique opens. It's 100% happening, they're fitting it out now so I was told.

finally getting a (proper) boutique in London. It's about time. I can't believe that we have waited this long for one to open. After all, London is one of the greatest cities in the world

But I'll defiantly be interested in catching up when I'm next up in the City and free. Especially if you the Boutique is about to open.

The "official" word on this was that Johan Rupert would only green light a London boutique if it was situated on Bond Str, so basically took this long for a retail space to open up on Bond...
