This is probably gonna come across as silly but has anyone ever imagined having a thin, clear film to protect the watch from scratches and dings? Kind of like a clear bra on a porsche?

I feel they distort and take away from the beauty of the dial. Some scratches and dings on the watch and the crystal give a watch character.

You can always replace the crystal or polish the watch. I often will replace scratched up crystals but I don't polish my watches.

Thx for the link. I am actually more concerned about the case and bezel than the crystal on my 243 . It really sticks out there.

This has been an ongoing joke for a few years over at TZ. If I am out of line Mods - my apologies!!! If you guys want to delete the link no sweat - just google Elmer's Glue and watches and I am sure that you will find a lot of posts
