Hi There

Was wondering if anyone can explain why the 233 seems to down in value almost every month.

Is this suddenly a hated watch?

I [paid over $10k for mine, and see them selling for $6k......

Is this all Panerai, or 233 specific?

Thank you for any insight

It's the most hated watch of all panerai !!! I can't iimagine what you were thinking buying at $10K...

Granted I may be biased as I have one for sale now ...

In all seriousness; the one for $6k appears to be a scam. At least some long time Ristis have called out the shadiness of this deal;

Best,
Darron

I happen to love mine, and I own, (or have owned) many different models.

It's a great all around watch quite honestly a steal at current prices...

To the OP, yes, some models have fallen in price, good time to be a buyer IMO if there's a particular piece you're after...(bronzos excluded )

I love my 233. I just thought that the OP "sky is falling" was a little odd. Now that I re read my post; it's not clear if I was joking. Which I was.

Is the most perfect Panerai I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot of them. I think this model, long run, and particularly the dot dial, will hold its value much better than most other models.

I'm in the UK and want a 233 and the price point for me is £5,900 - £6,500 all double boxed and papers etc. I've seen UK dealers sell them in this price range recently but unfortunately too far away from me to consider. With hindsight should have bought over the phone

233's for $6k is a scam. $7500-$8,000 about right for pre-owned. Best PAM of all time IMHO.
