Hi there- i did purchase the 164. It was not model I had in mind when I went to purchase a pam. I tried on luminors and rads and the sales help pulled this one out of the case and asked if I had seen this model. I had not. All the numbers on the face make it smile at me. Funny though how it is missing the iconic 6 and 9 numbers...which actually took me a while to notice. I like having a model that is not as popular as the others, keep in mind a base will be my next purchase, but a model that is not quite iconic as others still has a rich history and brings joy to me each time i strap it on. I did switch to the rubber straps which I like more on a daily basis. I have a pic that I will try to upload...im in the middle of another house move, so if the photos dont go up, send me your email and ill shoot some new ones over this weekend after i unpack. good luck! - james.
