I would like to draw on the great taste and watch knowledge of our community. A younger associate of mine is looking for his first decent watch. So, the rules are: you have new watch that you want to wear with suits. PAMs aside, what do you buy? (Pics of course are welcome).
Thanks for your input, all!

It might not be under 5K but a Reverso Pre-owned JLC might be an option. No sense in paying retail if he dosn't have to!

Cartier roadster and Tag Heuer Monaco or Monza could be some options. Sorry no pics though.

It has a beautiful dial. Good wrist presence (44mm), and is somewhat uncommon.

Steel with gold hands on brown gator is a classy look.

Ask about my loyalty program.

Baume et Mercier have some really nice watches that come in for way under $5K that go great with suits. Personally I'd go for an entry level IWC though.

Speedmaster Snoopy, Sea Dweller, GMT (16750). Each pretty much within the price range, or if not at least something very similar.

Or, check out some of the new Zeniths.

There are some very dressy classy Zentiths out there, although they are 39mm. If you have an issue with that size...it might work,
Have you also considered the new "vintage" B&R...? Nice for the money. 42mm, 12,3,6,9....white dialed, plexi, and hand wound...Not a bad option...and way below your budget!

Sme good choices are Hamiltons, well under budget to allow him to get another watch for fun, not work! Also mont blanc time walker series are nice and I think as a watch company they are making waves!
