My i-Phone display is stuck in portrait mode and won't change to landscape if I turn the phone through 90 degrees. I also have an icon on my screen showing a circle with a lock in it. How do I get back to normal behaviour, please - have pressed all the buttons I can think of, but to no avail. Many thanks!

In case that link doesn't work - Double click the home button. You will see a bottom tray of app icons. Slide that tray from left to right and you will see the icons for playing music AND the lock/unlock icon. Press that lock/unlock icon and you're good.
Best,
Greg

Felt pretty stupid, really, but these Apple products are full of little idiosyncracies with not a hint as to how to deal with them.
