A cyclocross bike. I have ridden mountain bikes for a long time and I want to grab a cyclocross bike for a versatile touring/road bike. Any recommendations under $2000? Thanks

Check out Ridley. Great bikes, good value and a true Belgian brand and no one knows Cross like Belgians

There are probably some decent deals available now that cross season is over. For inspiration search for some video of the World Championships which were held in Lousiville KY last weekend. What other sport can you watch a race and then meet the world champ in the bar after the race?

Check out Fuji, they make great cross bikes at really good prices. I've had a Cross Pro for a few years now, and it is perfect. It is my commuter bike, as well as my go on dirt with skinny tires bike.
Ridley's are great, and have a great reputation, but are a bit pricey.
Cheers!!

I've been riding road bikes & mtb this past 4 years. I heard a lot from cyclists that I met has gone to cross and loving it. After seing that UCI WC video, I'm thinking of getting one too. This one comes to mind,http://fireflybicycles.com/bikes/cross-titanium , i know its $$$ but I think they are the most talented custom bike builder out there.
