It was a small group for this GTG, but that just made it more fun. Big thanks to Ralph for organizing and to everyone who made it out! What a fun city! Sorry it took so long for the pics but these write up take some time.

Now on to the pictures.

Met up with Ralph a day early. I got in around lunch time, so let's go eat! We went to Pat O'Brien's:

Ralph had the shimp and grits...

I think he is happy with his choice...

I had the Jambalaya..delicious...

So then we walked around for a bit...Ran into this guy...Home of the Hand Grenades...

New Orleans is filled with all these courtyards...pretty cool...

Jackson Square...

Street artists...

Time to go to the market...

Well I definitely know I'm in New Orleans...

Look at the sign and then the fence...thought it was pretty cool...

The famous blue dog...

Street performers...

Court house...

Man that dog is relaxed. Crazy with all the people walking around...

They call these guys birds. I'm guessing from all the feathers...

Canal Street...

My hotel for the weekend...

Impromptu parade...

Bourbon Street...

Street performer Homer - Doh!...

Testing out the zoom on Bourbon Street...Not as good as Nad's but it works in a pinch...

Time for dinner. Ralph and I shared some fabulous oysters and bloody mary's...

My first hand grenade drink...

Bourbon Street on a Thursday night. Still busy...

Jesus...

For a minute we thought we spotted Lars!...

And Eddie...

Read the sign closely...it pretty much sums up Bourbon Street...

How can this be a bad thing?...

Breakfast at Cafe Du Monde. Coffee and Beignets...

Time to do some more walking...

Napoleon House. Was designed for Napoleon to come live in New Orleans after his excile, but never came to pass...

Candy in the walls? What can be better than that!

Time for lunch at Ralph's favorite Po Boy shop...

Delicious chips...

Ralph and his older brother Gabe...Gabe is a fireman in SF...

Tiles at the GTG hotel Monteleone...

Filming the HBO series True Blood. Wasn't any action during the day. See further down...

Saw this weird thing. I was assuming it was there to keep leaves and such from falling on the restaurant tables below...

Time for Dinner at Emril's Delmonico's...left to right. Ralph, Me, Gush, Gabe...

The filming of True Blood has begun...If you look closely enough you can see Eric in the 2nd shot...

Diana and Brian Lau arrive and have to try the hand grenades...

Eric and Bill returning back to their waiting area after filming a scene from True Blood...

Brian and Diana were hungry so pizza it was...

The next morning I caught Brian carrying around a purse so had to snap it...

Walking around some more...

Ralph and Gush...Ralph's reaction "I did what last night?"...

The Mississippi...

Gush estatic over the Chelsea win!...

Gush found a buddy to celebrate...

Time for the GTG dinner and Brennan's...

Vijay and Gush...

Ralph and his brother Gabe...

Brian drooling over a vintage...

Vijay brought a special watch for us to drool over...

Dennis and his friend Paul talking to Ralph...

French Onion soup...this stuff was thick like gravy but oooohhh so good...

Left to right. Dennis, Paul, Gush, Me, Gabe...

Left to right Jeremy's wife, Jeremy, Diana, Vijay, Brian, Ralph...

Dinner...

This place invented Banana's Foster, so we had to have some!...

Group shot...

Table shot...

Time for some fun!...

Come on Ralph, you know you want a shot...

This was Ralph's second round of Jager shots. If you notice he was getting 3 shots at once. He didn't enjoy it...LOL...

Brian's turn. He only had one round, but two shots at once...

What after 6 shots all I get is this hat? I wanted your phone number!...

Breakfast the next day...Left to Right: Gush, Ralph, Me, Brian, Vijay...

Well that's it...looking forward to next year!
