Hello to all my fellow Panerai enthusiasts. Greetings from sunny Doha, Qatar.

This is my first post so please bear with me.

For a year or so now, I have been following this group for almost everyday. It all started when a PAM caught my attention, I can't even remember which one is it now because I learned to like most of the PAMs. I then started to read about the history of OP, the watch models, the movements, the price lists. But I never had the guts to post anything until now.

Last month, I started the process of finding my first PAM. I went to the OP boutique at least once a week to check out what they have. By doing so, I built a pretty good relation with them. With the help of the posts of the Paneristis, I made my choice and decided to get the PAM 177. When I went to the boutique to buy it, I first took my chance and asked them if the Luminor Marina Doha Boutique Edition is available. With all the VIPs out here, I did not expect them to say yes. But they did. It was not on display but they still offered it to me. Out of only 50, they offered me 1, lucky me. I guess, visiting them every week for the past month or so really helped. Fast forward to today, I am glad to share with you, as my first post, some photos of my first PAM (definitely not my last): The PAM 454 Luminor Marina Doha Boutique Edition featuring the Zubara Fort (A historical landmark here in Qatar) on its back. I know it is not a very special watch for most of you, but it is very special to me because I live here in Qatar (at least for the last 6 years as an Expat). So I hope you all enjoy them.
