Just traded up for a new 312 this weekend. I was definitely torn between a few models. It came down to the 312 or the 390. The 312 had more going for it in terms of craftsmanship (in house movement, 1950s case) which tipped the scales a bit. Though I still would love a 390 one day. Maybe if they come down in price in a year or so. But I can honestly say that now I'm not second guessing my choice and I'll be enjoying the 312 for a long time to come.

I'm going to have to add some more gators to my list. So far I got two Peter Gunny's due the end of March. I love the versatility-- and I don't think she's leaving my watch anytime soon. Too bad I have to shower! lol
