Guys,

I need some assistance here.

So I get the call from the boutique re: the 390, which I happily purchased knowing that it's a special watch for Paneristi's out there. But after awhile, I find myself wearing the 372 more along with the rest of the collection.

So what do I do??? Should I sell it? Would I regret it later if I do? I know there's only 2000 pieces out there. Should I hold on to it for a lil while longer?

Appreciate your thoughts.

I still wouldn't sell my 372 unless I had to. If you really aren't feeling the 390 sell it but you might regret it later.

You sell me your 390 I'll happily wear it every 3 days with my 372 & 411 and then I feel I'll be in a better position to comment !

Seriously if I did own a 390 I know it would get discarded to the box pretty much all the time as the 372 is incredible!

I posted a similar post about a year ago. I bought a zero and a 417 a month apart and wasn't feeling the 417 and considered selling it. A very wise Risti advised me to put the 417 away very a while, assuming I didn't need to sell it. I did just that and it sat for months, then slowly it started getting more and more wrist time. It is now a watch I wear often.

I'll pass this same advice on to you. Put the 390 away for a while, don't feel obligated to wear it because of the attention its recieving eight now. Enjoy, really enjoy, the 372 and let the 390 resurface when the time is right. If you don't need to sell it, that's my $.02.

...if you can afford to keep both, do so, but if you have to sell one, I'd sell the 390, SE or not. I'm fortunate to have both too, but strap an ammo on the 372, and it just shouts "WOW"! The 390 doesn't have the same impact to me. While it may be a new classic, I think the 390 might have been better with off-white or white wording, while keeping the gold hands and tan numerals. I feel it needs more dial contrast, something the 372 has with its black dial. The plexi adds more depth to the dial too.

I enjoy both, but the 372 gets more wrist time.

It's rough having these dilemmas, isn't it?

Momma just needs the right pair of shoes.

I'd try that first before anything.

I find that I have stopped wearing 44mm pams. the 47mms feel so right.

i don't care about the heritage personally, i like the size, the beautiful p3000, and the high quality unique dial.
