I have been wearing my PAM 57 with the OEM brown gator strap for many years now and want to change it up. I have recently purchased a bunch of new straps and am trying this painted French ammo on for a test run. The strap is a beauty, and a beast as it is VERY thick. I love the strap but don't know if I love it with this watch. I think my judgment may be clouded as I've worn the brown gator for so long. I do want something a bit different and somewhat unique. Anyway, I'd appreciate feedback on this combo. Does it look great or does it suck (no waffling in the middle)? Any other recommendations or pics would be appreciated.

Cheers and have a great one!

The problem is that you are used to seeing a different picture and as thi s is different, it looks strange for a while. This strap suits the watch and will only get better with age.

I think it is just hard to get used to a different look after wearing the dark brown gator for so long.

It looks great, but not with your skin tone.
