Hi guys,

I would like to know more about the PAM37, and need your help please.

I read it was made for a WWF charity auction...but don't manage to know more about it.
I thought that only one WWF auction existed, when only 43 x PAM1 (with name of famous people engraved in the caseback) were sold in Nov.99
(Source: The Value of Time book)
So why do I read things telling the PAM37 was sold during another WWF auction too?

Seems the 37 is a B sold in 2000-2001 (???) but there's no current millesimation engraved in the back.
It's a Ghost, but why isn't there any Bxx/40, but a simple OP6511 and BBxxxxxx engraved in the back?
How many pieces have been produced?

Do you know the story of this watch?
Has it been a "test" watch or something?

Best,

1) The Pam 37 but not all were released with the name of some personalities you can see on the book " the value of time "..
2) This model was released with some other names than those you can see in the book ( Richemont employees in Asia ? )..
3) Some Pam 37 were released without any name engraved on the caseback and no millesimation too ( no millesimation is for all the 37s ) ..
4) The Pam 37 was the 1st serie with a Luminova dial ( don't miss a 37 is nothing else than a Pam 01 ) it became the 01B ..
5) It's possible to think the Pam 37 is in the same time a prototype, a marketing test, a gohst and a shadow ..

that would one great watch. Still quite collectible, especially 2 names IMO: Maria Panerai and Emilio Bianchi.

from the sale. You can see that the watch featured in the artwork has the desireable 't-hyphen' dial,,,,

How I wish,,,,,lol

....Does it mean there have been some PAM1A and PAM37 (both with/without engraved caseback) for sale, among the 43 pieces, during this auction?
Or am I mistaken?

were L dials (I hope I understood your question). In the planning and production stage the artwork used an old pre-A 1 image, but by 1999, they were already phasing out tritium dials for Luminiva.
