Hi,

Picked up my splendid 382 this weekend and am super happy with it - what a totally awesome piece!!

Now, NOT that I plan to keep it highly polished or anything like that, but any advice/tips from owners on how to fix ugly spots that may develop would be appreciated.

I read somewhere ketchup - who would have thought

Anyhow, quick pic along with its highly polished counter part - fruits of a great weekends retail therapy!!

Cheers.

Probably the 2 best modern Pams IMHO. Congratulations!

I'm the guy using ketchup. Works like a charm. I've also used NevrDull.

I found that occasionally I must have splashed a little something on the case because I would get random spots (as opposed to an even darkening patina) that I wanted to take out.

Brent,

Just put catchup on the bronze case and rub it and then clean with water?
It becomes shiny again?

Here is what mine became? I still like it now, but it got stop and clean til the greenish comes out!!

I just squirted some ketchup on a paper towel and wiped it down for a sec and rinsed it off with soapy water and voila.

May I ask why you tried?

Was it a Eureka moment, as sauce dripped from hotdog, or an iterative process through mayo, mustard ....... j/k LOL!!

Maybe some issue between the silicon and bronze, or Panerai ar afraid of the cover trapping moisture?

Either way, you gotta make sure the fabric cushion is in place when you close the box, otherwise it could get ugly between the plaque and bezel.

BTW - i polished up with a very small amount of Silvero, with great results
