The Swiss watch market is hurting.
Richemont is just applying the Panerai "Bronzo" method to all of its other brands.

This is why you now have a Montblanc 1858 "Limited Edition" in Bronze, and an IWC Big Pilot "Limited Edition" in Bronze.
Richemont is hoping that these Bronze limited editions from all of its brands are going to drum up sales a bit, or will be used to foist dead stock pieces in "Package deals" (like Panerai does) on buyers who are eager to get a Bronze "Limited Edition"

I am sure a "Bronzo" Lange Zeitwerk minute repeater is in the works... 😂
