Hi All,

I've been wearing a 312N almost daily since I purchased it new from an AD last November. Over the past few months the watch went from not lasting a full 72 hours to not lasting through the night to now not even lasting through the day when I'm wearing it. Have tried manually winding the piece and the problem still persists.

Anyone know what might be going on here? Has anyone else had this issue with a 312N? Just wanted to exhaust all options before sending it away to Panerai for 6-8 weeks.

Best,
John

i've issues with the so-called 3 day power reserve that panerai boasts about the 312N. i own a 312N myself and when i first got mine i decided to put it to the test.

i made a call to richemont and they told me that to give it a full charge i have to turn the crown 40 to 50 times which i did and made sure that each turn made a full round. then i set it on my desk untouched.

from this little experiment, all i can say is the so-called 3 day reserve is just that; so-called. in fact it didn't even last 48 hours!

IMO, one wind usually equals about 1 hour of running time.
I've tested my 312 and it runs over 72 hours on a full wind.

Cheers...

Michael

Mine was fine. It's running well for 72 hours. Just that it slower by 2 second in a day.

It's obvious that it needs to be fixed by a technician in the service service. Don't waste the period of the warranty.

I know a story of where the rotor didn't charge the power reserve. So after of 3 days of continuous wear the watch has been stopped. But still with a manual wound could make 3 days.

Your situation is more complicated. To the doctor, well !!!
