Great points and great idea! I tried posting on the other site but they moderate my post in the trash i suppose. Ive never been able to post there. Thats why im only here! Nonetheless i always liked the idea of having a thread worthy of a simple post or two of a point or two without having to have a full topic of what usually ends in disaster for me:) Im all for making this idea a stickie! If not maybe what we did this week or sumpin? Ok ill add my gravel shortly. Maybe we should start another about "What's your debitage look like this day" er what'd you bust up today!

Brewermo! Thats some dang good work there! Stone and bone! Well done sir!

Mike and Ryan your work is impressive! Ive been knappin longer than yall and im about ready to start askin yall some questions:) Yall got some skills and are naturals at this! Please keep posting. We need more traffic here. Some sites frown on light talk and BS but I highly reccomend this kind of thread. Thats what brngs in the volume and interest and builds our community.

This one came out ok I suppose it came in at about 8" which is my longest finished point
I made a couple boo boos on the side with the wite that was right under the cortex it just acted a lot different in pressure than the rest of the rock
it also got a little bend in it

i use mainly direct percussion...i usally switch over to large indirect to knock those last big flakes...i try to space my strikes fairly far apart....then come back with my pressure flaker to clean the deltas off ...i am really going for the overshot look..thanks man trust me i still need lots of practice hoping to make it to letchworth, baldeagle, and in the fall the flintridge knapin..need to sit with some people so i can learn somthin
