Used a mini billet to trim down a small green goldstone slab I bought a while back. Did that late last night, Just got it all shaped out now.

Man, you've been busy! Fantastic stuff!

Finally got around to knapping some this morning. Had a nice big preform in the works until the tip decided to fly off. Still enough to work something out of at least!

Moved on to another smaller chunk of obsidian and got this folsom looking thing out of it. wanted to try doing a fluted point and got this.

Looking real good folks. Whatever your style is Mike, it stands out in its own way and it works. I can always identify your art without seeing your username. Good stuff. I have a big knapping project in the works, hopefully ill be done with it in a week or so and Ill share it with you all.

You need to put a pair of arrow shafts on that thing. That's hilarious.

How you didn't snap that bugger in the skinny spot, Doghouse, I don't even know. Very creative. I love it. How are you all posting photos these days? I have a big project and I'm going to be posting a lot of pics on it soon... (hopefully)

Glad you liked it Boletus! Was pretty funny actually. When I was knapping on one the other would ring a really high pitch! I had to put a finger on the other to keep it from vibrating away. I thought about using my guitar capo:)?

Mystery glass I found cleaning out a storm drain... . Not sure what it came from, but it sure is purdy

Good old black obsidian from Craig. Made a couple mods to it, serrations at the bottom and finished the stem.. but no good pics (First knife I've ever made. From a slab, but tried to make it *not* look like a slab) I learned a lot with this project. Copper flaker and quartzite pebble abrader.

Dark brown obsidian

*special thanks to nogie for help with posting pics*
