What kind of steel did you use for the 2 hander? Fullers would look good; I haven't tried any myself yet. My grinder is down for a run capacitor atm; I just ordered one, so hope i get it by a few days after the end of next week. Slim pickings for tech stuff here.

It's OCS  (old chevy spring) since it's an early 70's blazer spring, it should be 5160... I'm gonna build a spring fullering die to forge in the fullers using my little press... it should add a fuller on either side of the central ridge and make the blade wider

How many ton is your jack? I bought one a few months back from Northern Tool that is a 12 ton for a project like yours; i haven't built it yet.
