Hi all, great to see some bowyers from the past is coming back! I haven't made any bows for some years but made a bunch this spring and re -registered here.

Wych elm sapling bow: 66" nock to nock. 50# at 28"

it took about 1 inch of set but still holds 2 inches of reflex.

This is another elm sapling bow. Its 60.5" between the nocks, but has a short stiff middle section of 6.3" handle and fades. Pulls 55 pounds at 26 draw. Bit propeller twisted. Finish is bees wax. Maximum width 1.6 inches. set is 1-1/4 inch.

Love the bow and the background greenery, where is it?
Buttercup: We'll never survive.
Westley: Nonsense. You're only saying that because no one ever has.

Beautiful work. Is that second bow propped up on the limb of a broken bow?
