Re: Articles made of wild boar bones and deer and moose antlers.

Very nice work.
Most of the bones I find in the woods are too old or have been chewed on by animals.
Hunter friends sometimes give me bones,

Re: Just for fun build me a wood stove/oven.

I'm confused about what you are looking for. 1. Do you want someone to build a stove/oven? 2. Are you asking for design suggestions? 3. The stove in the photo looks like it is made of metal. Are you wanting a metal stove, and if so, what are you suggesting about "natural materials", and what are th...

Just for fun design me a wood stove/oven.

First off the stove you design and I build has to be acceptable to mainstream folk. By that I mean it has to look extremely safe and well built. It is going in a modern dwelling and may even be inspected. That having been said I would like to build it with mostly natural materials. I do have a suppl...

Re: Hello ...... from the forest in Carpathian.

Ibor the first picture I saw made me think they were modern forged metal tools.
Lovely tools,well done,well done.

I make primitive arrows by both hand and with power tools.
Of course the ones I made by hand meant more but
using modern tools helped me to learn how.

Re: Decidedly off topic

Tracker got boiled potatoes and carrots with a little bit of chicken for lunch today.
If I gave him boiled carrots alone he wouldn't eat them. But add potatoes and
the carrots get snarfled in the feeding frenzy. Add a bit of chicken on top and watch out.😮

That sounds like a job that requires a lot of patience.
Where do you shoot? Do you ever go to a range or tournaments?

Re: Decidedly off topic

I just found out a friend lives pretty close to that house I am looking at. He is a builder and so can look the place over before I go. I am exoerienced enough to eye the place over but an extra pair of eyes can only help me out. Plus he confirms that hunting is very good in the area. Both whitetail...

Tracker just had a nice walk.
It made up for the other days where he was leg lifting so much
I didn't have the heart to keep him out longer.
Now he will get nice turkey wing meat while
I decide on whether to keep the bones for a call.🤔

Here is my Net-Friend Seved's place in Sweden. I presume what we see here are just the outbuildings. Seved is an excellent knife-maker. What I like about his place is it is relatively low key and doesn't look like there is a lot of upkeep. Seved keeps a few chickens so he can have farm fresh eggs. I...

Well done sir,well done.
That carving tool is certainly unique.
Is it hard to control the wood you carve with it?
In other words, does the wood want to jump around?

Where can I get one?

i string it up backwards then shove the rocks towards the nocks under the string. it puts a good angle on the string so it cant touch the back of the bow.when i sinew the back the first layer can only go to the rocks. after it dries , like it was enough today, itll hold that shape after you remove ...
