it may have been one of the ways but I also think that they went the coastal route both east and west of the continent long before the corridor opened up.

For food how long would it take them to get through the corridor with kids/old and so on driving your food ahead of you would seem like the thing to do and just cuz someone says it would/could not be done I have heard that one before as I am sure you have also...

Plants/trees in Boreal forest that one could extract oils from to use in oil lamp?

I was thinking about pine pitch/sap/heat extracted from fatwood but I think it would be to thick so use for an oil lamp any ideas plants and or how they may need to be processed to get a more wicking type oil?

I have tried them thought they were the cats meow but I found them useless in the bush depends allot on how easy the walk is are you going uphill/downhill/winding path/trudging through thick bush/snow and so on

From what I know their is little to no UV from a campfire. But I did get a nice UV flashlight so that I could see the dye I put in my Vans AC to check for leaks.
But I did hear that it is needed to create vitamin D but again I don't know forsure...
