Hello everybody!
As you might have noticed the Romanian archers group Arcasii Liberi are going to arrange a big gathering next summer in Transylvania.
Me and my wife Kati were lucky to get invited there last summer and we really want to go there again.
The gathering was quite a big happening, I didn't realize there are such a large community of instinctive archers in Romania! There were over 100 people involving at the weekend.
They all were organized food, cold beer, workshops, materials, archery competitions and evening entertainments with live music, fire arrows and such!
The days were hot and the nights like velvet . Romanian hospitality is really a phenomenon, we were enjoying our time a lot there!

The village is called Dumbraveni, It is in Transylvania, alongside of the Carpathian mountains, near town Targu Mures.
There is a nice little hotel  just about 10 minutes walk trough the forest from the camp side.

A landscape to the village with some flight shooting.

Some Romanian archers,

Wiew to the camp.

7 brave archers in the woods.

The winner of the competition.

Aerial fun.

Pop down targets.

More shooting!

Resting in a "shadow".

Kati got an umbrella from Florin, a bit warm at the midday.

Better to find all arrows before the sun set.
