I'm a flintknapper that just moved to Nova Scotia and I'm looking for knowledgeable people to share their information on resource areas in the Province. I'm not looking to step on anybody's toes and will keep all locations to myself. I will respect all the locations by not taking too much lithic material. I don't want to take any rocks from any precontact quarrys that are deemed archaeological sites either. I'm just looking for some different materials than I'm used to and I know Nova Scotia has some amazing rocks I can bang on. I know there is information out there but many lithic sources are still unknown to researchers while locals might have knowledge of them. Please help me out.

Search the article for jasper. Looks like Bay of Fundy has a lot of lithics, but I didn't dig deep enough to find precise locales. You probably know this already.
