Not much in north Texas. There are some decent cobbles in the Brazos river gravels but they are general small, fist size or smaller. There is some chert in the limestone on private property around Possum Kingdom lake but what I have seen has mostly been poor grade. There is some chert in the limestone around Decatur around Chico Ridge. I have read and been told that the limestone quarries have pretty much eradicated the sources and what was there was low grade. The artifacts I have seen from that are have been pretty rough with a few made of better grade materials. That is pretty much it other than mid to low grade quartzites and silicified shales. I am in Euless at the moment and sell knappable flint. You can contact me by email at flintrockhunter@yahoo.com or you can call or text me at 817-713-9686.

I actually live in Chico, haha
me and my buddy found some stuff around the lake but we had to look pretty hard and it wasn't very good. I'll pay you a visit and buy some material off of you soon
